Install WooCommerce Webhooks

As part of the integrating your Dropstore with your Woocommerce store, we need to ensure that the right events triggers are sent to Dropstore from your store.

You need these webhooks set up in order to maintain an update between Dropstore and your Woocommmerce store

Dropstore requires 2 Webhooks to be created. These are automatically created during plugin installation.

If you wish to verify or manually create them, here are the steps below:

Please Note: If these web hooks already exist in your woocommerce account, and they have the correct destination url, you do not need to manually create them again

Step 1: Get your merchant account access token

Once you are done with the above steps, you can head over to your Wordpress site, where you can set up and/or verify your webhooks!

Step 2: Login to your admin and go to the WooCommerce plugin settings menu.

Step 3: Go to the Advanced tab and from there, the Webhooks - this would show you a list of all the webhooks that are on your system.

Once you are done with the above steps, all you need to do is to confirm that there are 2 Webhook URLs for dropstore:

Creating a Product Webhook:

Name - Product.Update

Status - Active

Topic - Product Deleted

Destination Url - **https://app.dropstore.co.za/api/v1/woocommerce/source/merchant/product/delete/{accessToken}

Secret - Leave Blank

API Version - Legacy Api v3

Creating an Order Webhook:

Name - Order.Update

Status - Active

Topic - Order Update

Delivery Url - https://app.dropstore.co.za/api/v1/woocommerce/merchant/order/create/{accessToken}

Secret - Leave Blank

API Version - Legacy Api v3

Please note that you would need to use the access token value in #step 1# in these Urls

Thats all!
